Getting Through Finals Week

.
It's the most stressful time of the year.. At least close to being the most stressful. Flash cards and class notes are piled up on our desks. Insane amount of coffee are being consumed. We are all waiting for the light at the end of the tunnel and dreaming of the days that are near where we will be able to binge-watch Netflix without any other care in the world.
For me, I know that the past few months have been a whirl-wind. There is so much going on in my life where nothing seems to be going right and the added stress of finals just feels like the icing on the cake, and not in a good way. I have a few tips to get you through finals week and any other stressful times that life is full of.

1. Take a Moment to Relax
Yes, I said it. Take a 10 minute break. Do your nails, read a book, or cook something. It is okay to take a short break and father your thoughts.

2. Talk to God
My faith is important to me and when life is stressful and things are just going wrong, there is no better place for me to turn to than God. I recommend the app She Reads Truth. It's a Bible app that is made just for women.

3. Exercise
Exercising is not my favorite thing, especially running, but I know that I always feel better after a workout. Exercise can relieve stress and is just really good for your overall health.

4. Take a Nap
Pulling all-nighters? Go ahead and take that 15 minute power nap or actually get a night of rest. Your body needs sleep. If you are sleep-deprived, your brain will not be as focused as it could be on that final.

I hope that this post was a good study-break reading for you. Good luck on all your finals and if you need another study-break, check out my Vlog channel and subscribe! The link is somewhere on this blog. David and I are doing vlogmas right now! I love you all and I am so thankful for all your support.

Amanda
