What I Eat In A Day: Weight Watchers Edition

by - July 25, 2016

Welcome back to my blog lovelies! I've been doing Weight Watchers for about three weeks now and I am loving it. I was having trouble keeping myself accountable, so after doing some research, I decided to try Weight Watchers and so far, it's been great and I've seen results. I feel really great mentally, emotionally, and physically and I have also lost weight. Weight Watchers makes me eat healthy and choose fruits, vegetables, and whole foods over junk!

Before I get into what I ate today, I have a cool announcement. I'm going to start making YouTube videos! I have been wanting to do this for YEARS and finally decided to just go for it. I'm not sure how it will go considering I don't have a camera or money to even invest in one, but it will be fun. My boyfriend and I have a vlog channel and we just use our phones, so I'll be using my iPhone 6 to record my videos for now. Do you have any video requests or tips for me? Leave a comment down below. I need all the help I can get!

Let's get into what I ate today. First, I ate breakfast obviously. I intern at The Bert Show, which is a nationally-syndicated morning radio show, so my mornings start at 3:45 a.m. I eat breakfast around 4:30 a.m., which is hard. My stomach cannot handle a lot so early in the morning, so I stick to a slice of toast made with 40 calorie whole wheat bread and 1/4 of an avocado. I also have a cup of Califa Farms Iced Cafe Latte. These are delicious and give me some much needed caffeine every morning. This meal is 7 points!

I ate lunch around 12:30 and because I had dinner plans with one of my best friends, I kept lunch light with lettuce wraps! I got three romaine hearts and put some sliced turkey, avocado, cheese, and mustard inside each leaf and wrapped it up. This is one of my favorite lunches and is totally filling! I had a few bites that I couldn't finish. This meal was 9 points.

I totally forgot to take a photo of my dinner.. sorry fam. I went to Ruby Tuesday's with one of my best friends and I got the salad bar! Ruby Tuesday's has an AMAZING salad bar! I loaded up on lots of veggies for such a delicious salad and I added a little bit of their potato salad and veggie pesto salad on the side, making the total points for this meal 15! It was delicious and I totally recommend the salad bar. It allows you to control the portions and how much dressing and toppings to add.

There you have it! I hope you enjoyed this "What I Eat In A Day" post and if you want to see more posts like this, let me know in a comment below.
