To My Atlanta Falcons On Game Day

Happy Sunday! I know I usually post on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, but today is a very special occasion. Today is Super Bowl Sunday and because I live in the good ol' state of Georgia, currently in the city of Atlanta, I am spending my day cheering on my Atlanta Falcons! Before I get ready to head out and enjoy Super Bowl Sunday, I wanted to write something to my Atlanta Falcons.

To My Atlanta Falcons on Super Bowl Sunday,

Georgia is my home and for as long as I can remember, you have been the my team. What I love is that each and every fan makes up a family; a brotherhood. I am no sports-expert, but I love my Atlanta teams and you are no exception. I might not know all the logistics of football or every team member, but I have pride in where I come from and the teams I cheer for. 

Today, you are the underdog. I wish I had a dollar for every time I heard that, but wow... are there so many people cheering you on today. Today, play your hardest. Put your best effort out there and just know that no matter the outcome of this game, the fact that you made it to the Super Bowl is unbelievable and an amazing accomplishment already. 

Myself, along with countless others, will be cheering you on today. Rise up, Falcons. Rise up.
