My Winter Morning Routine

It's Friday people. We've made it! I am kicking off the end of the week with semiformal! I am so excited. It is a little sad because it is also my final event with Alpha Omicron Pi before I graduate, but I am so ready to have some fun tonight. I've been so stressed lately, so being with some of my best friends will be so great.

I know that it is not officially winter, but the weather here in Georgia definitely feels like it. And Christmas is right around the corner, so that adds to the feeling of winter. My morning routine changes a bit once Thanksgiving is over, so I'm sharing that with you today. My morning starts around 8:30 a.m. I've been waking up around that time pretty consistently for a while now. I do what most people do as soon as they wake up - check my phone. I check social media and emails primarily. After a few minutes of that, I hop out of bed, put on my robe from Timeless Bridal Accessories, (not sponsored at all, but I love this robe and if you're looking for one that is inexpensive, I recommend!!) and head to the bathroom.

I use Clean and Clear's morning burst face cleanser to wash my face and then brush my teeth and use mouthwash. I love Crest's Clinical Strength mouthwash. It has really improved my dental health. I put a very light amount of coconut oil on my face to moisturize it. A little goes a long way here.

I take a fermented cod liver oil and butter oil capsule from Radiant Life and every other day I'll drink a packet of Emergen-C. After I do that, I throw on some workout clothes and get a 20-minute workout in.

After my workout, I make breakfast. My go-to breakfast that I literally have every single day - avocado and egg toast. I use a slice of Hawaiian bread, an egg, and half an avocado. It is sssooo good and so filling. I really look forward to breakfast. I've also been really stressed and tense lately, so I've been drinking Yogi's Honey Lavender Stress Relief tea to help.

Once I finish up breakfast, I get ready for the day. I ask Alexa to play Christmas music while I get ready. Sometimes I'll curl my hair and other days I'll just straighten it. It just depends on what I'm feeling for that day. As far as makeup, my everyday makeup is really basic and simple.

I start with L'Oreal's Infallible Pro-Glow foundation. After that, I use Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Eraser Concealer. I put this under my eyes and over any blemishes. I set it with L'Oreal's True Match powder. I don't usually wear much eye makeup other than mascara. I've been using L'Oreal's Voluminous Lash Paradise. The cold weather really dries out my lips, so I use Burt's Bees Ultra Conditioning lip balm. I finish this really easy and natural look with Mario Badescu's Rosewater. 

I'll then do a little bit of blog and YouTube work and go about the rest of my day, which currently consists of applying for jobs and finishing up school work.
