Weekend Recap: October 20 - 22

I don't know what the weather is like where you are, but in Atlanta it is rainy and finally a little cold out. I am loving it and can finally enjoy my salted caramel mocha hot, not iced.

This week is definitely the BUSIEST week of my life... college classes and AOII have be busy until Wednesday. Thursday morning I leave for Myrtle Beach for a job interview (more about that in a later post). I  might do a little vlogging at the airport and hotel. I come back Friday afternoon and have a movie screening to host on behalf of Lifetime that night. Saturday is AOII's sisterhood retreat and that night I'm going home for the night. Sunday, I come back to school. Busy, right? Just thinking about it is making me tired.

Today's post is just a little recap of my weekend, so grab yourself a cup of tea or coffee and read away. We'll start with Friday.

Friday morning, I went to production workshop for practicum, which is a required class for journalism majors. It is essentially student news and production. Later that day, I watched the Yankees v. Astros game because I like baseball and I had to write a game story for my sports journalism class. That evening, my mom was super sweet and brought me a doughnut from Krispy Kreme. The pumpkin glazed doughnut was pretty good.

Saturday, I got up and redeemed a free coffee reward I had at Dunkin Donuts. I came back to my room and got ready for Georgia State's homecoming game! We lost, but I had a blast. Homecoming is always a good time. After that, my friend Annika and I really needed some food, so we went to our fave place, The Vortex. I got the classic coronary with tater tots, a water, a peach moonshine with sweet tea (soooo good you guys). I came back and slept because I was so tired and needed some sleep.

Sunday, I woke up and hung out with David for a bit. He had sports band practice, so when he left, I did some homework and I couldn't focus well because I was so tired, so I took a nap. I had to force myself to wake up to finish some homework. After getting a good bit of work done, I ate dinner and did some meal prep for the week because I won't really have time to cook this week. I finished up the rest of my homework and called it a night.

There's my weekend! What is one exciting thing you did this weekend? Comment below!!

xo,
Amanda
