12 Tips For Living Eco-Friendly
I will be the first to admit that I probably don’t live the most eco-friendly life, but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized just how important it is to take care of the earth we live in. I think that is one of our main responsibilities because God gave us this planet. We shouldn’t just trash it.
Again, I’m no expert, but every day, I try and do a few things to do my part. In my free time, I enjoy researching ways that I can continue to do my part to live a more eco-friendly life. If you don’t know where to start, I’ve got some tips for you!
1. Eat less meat. Raising livestock is a huge contributor to pollution!
2. Try to use less paper and recycle more.
3. Make sure you’re using reusable bags when you go shopping.
4. Unplug things that aren’t being used. Turn the water off when you brush your teeth or wash your face.
5. Don’t waste time in the shower.
6. Buy a reusable water bottle instead of buying bottled water.
7. Replace your lightbulbs with compact fluorescent bulbs!
8. Head out to your local farmers’ market
9. Donate your used stuff AND buy gently used items (Poshmark is my fave!)
10. Pay your bills online
11. Learn how to make your own cleaning supplies
12. Buy some plants for your home

These are just a few ways that you can start to live a more eco-friendly life. If we all made just a few little life changes, it would make such a big difference.
