3 Books You Should Be Reading

We all should be reading. Audible books totally count!

I have always been a reader. I loved picking up a new book from the school library each week and bringing it home to dive into a new story. When I got into high school, reading became something that I rarely did. I also barely picked up a book that wasn't assigned to me in college. So, when I graduated college, I made a promise to myself that I would read regularly pick up a book.

I haven't been perfect with this. It has definitely taken me a little while to finish each book... longer than I'd like to admit. I'm reading though and I have a ton more books just waiting for me. I asked for a couple last Christmas and also received a couple true crime novels a few months ago that I just can't wait to get to. Right now, I'm reading Present Over Perfect. It is the perfect reminder for me take some time and be present. Things don't have to be perfect.

This perfectionist needs to be reminded of that.

For Self-Improvement
Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis is so good. I actually got this on Audible and I really enjoyed it. There was so much really great advice and truths that hit home. Rachel has like zero idea who I am, but I think of her as my internet big sister!

For Knowledge
Tools Of Titans by Tim Ferris has a ton of really great advice. It is a resource of so many tips from some of the world's top performers. I haven't read through the whole thing, but I'm about halfway through and seriously.. I've learned so much. It is a big book, but it is a pretty easy read.

For Your Health
Body Love by Kelly LeVeque has changed my life. I'm not at all a science genius, but she lays out the science about how our bodies react to foods in an understandable way. She has changed my relationship with food and no longer do I sit and count calories and feel bad about everything I eat. Seriously, this book is good.

What other books would you add here?

xx,
Amanda
