Here's What My Fall Morning Routine Looks Like

I love a good morning routine... especially a fall morning routine!

You probably know by now, but fall is my season. I am my best self in the fall. The chilly weather (well, usually.. it is still hot here in Atlanta), cozy sweaters, falling leaves, all the pumpkin spice lattes and salted caramel mochas. Fall is the best!

As you also know, I really love a good morning routine and with each season, my morning routine slightly varies. The last time I shared my fall morning routine was in 2015 and I mean, four years later, so much has changed. I knew that I just had to share an updated fall morning routine with you! Routines are my favorite to read about and watch on YouTube, so I'm really excited to share mine with you.

Okay, let's get to it! Here's what my fall morning routine looks like.

I wake up every morning at 6:45. I have my Alexa set to tell me "goodmorning" and give me her little fun fact for the day. I find that this is a much easier wake-up then an alarm and... I like Alexa's little fun fact for the day. It is pretty interested and sometimes, gives me great content ideas!

I don't jump right out of bed. I actually, enjoy a few moments of silence and focus on gratitude and also quietly say some affirmations to set the tone for the day. Some common affirmations I say are...

I am fully supported in everything I do.
My drive and ambition allow me to achieve my goals.
I trust I am on the right path.
I am at peace with who I am.

After a few quiet moments, I get out of bed and head over to the bathroom. I always brush my teeth, clean my tongue, and wash my face in the morning. If you aren't cleaning your tongue. Get yourself a tongue cleaner and start now! Once you start, you will wonder why you never did it before. I also use a toner and vitamin c serum on my skin after I wash my face. I also go to the kitchen and make some ice water with pink salt and lemon. I talked about why I start my day with this water here.

Once I'm back in my room, I make my bed and pull out my journals. In one journal, I write a bit using a journal prompt or just write out how I'm feeling. I also write out my prayer requests and write down five to 10 things that I am grateful for. In my second journal, I write down the 10 goals that I am working towards.

I like to get a little movement in, so I'll typically do a video or two from Blogilates. I love, love, love Cassey and her workouts. I find her workouts to be some of the only ones I actually enjoy and look forward to!

The rest of the morning kind of depends on what is happening, but this is pretty much what every fall morning looks like for me! My favorite part of my morning is probably when I'm journaling. What about you?

What is your favorite part of your mornings?

xx,
Amanda
